- Lunch
- Day 1, on the Loboc river cruise: a buffet of Filipino countryside food. All other lunches and all dinners on your own; Panglao covers every price point within a short ride.
- Includes
- Two nights at Modala Resort or similar on Panglao. Roundtrip airport transfers. The Day 1 countryside tour with a DOT-accredited guide, admissions on the listed stops, and the Loboc river lunch. The Day 2 Panglao island hopping to Balicasag and Virgin Island. Daily breakfast at the hotel. Travel insurance.
- Accommodation
- Modala Resort or similar, on Panglao. A newer resort built around a very large pool; the boat day leaves from nearby.
- Not included
- International flights. Lunches on Days 2 and 3, and all dinners. Tips and gratuities. Personal expenses. Extra nights and extensions, arranged after booking, not at checkout.
- Travel times
- Panglao airport to the interior circuit: the countryside day runs six to eight hours from landing, depending on your flight. Panglao to Balicasag by bangka: around 30 to 45 minutes. The boat day starts early, roughly 6am, because the dolphin grounds are a morning phenomenon.
- When to come
- March through May is dry and warm, and the boat day runs most reliably. June through October is wet season; the countryside still works, but the sea can shorten or cancel the island day. November through February is cool dry, the most comfortable months.
- Worth knowing
- Day 1 only works because it starts at the airport; book a morning flight into Panglao or the countryside becomes a rush. The dolphins are wild and never guaranteed; the sanctuary and the sandbar do not depend on them. The tarsier stop runs on whisper rules, posted and enforced, and we like it that way. Want a third night? Arranged after booking, not at checkout.
